The Series has been very successful in promoting the sport of wheelchair racing in British Columbia's lower mainland region and throughout the province. The Series is open to non-disabled athletes as well. We are proud to encourage competition between able-bodied and athletes with disabilities within the open (T54) classification category.

In 2012, field events (shot put, discus, javelin, and club throw) were also added to the Series.
